POST TIME: 1900 PDT (local) SUCCESS flights have been completed. Both the ER-2 and DC-8 returned at roughly 1800 pdt. A check for Spinhirne's cirrus over water experiment. Not an "A" but it did appear that we got some good cirrus data over clear water with the ER-2 over head. Congratulations to all participants for an amazing job. As I said at our dinner in Salina, I have been overwhelmed by the extremely hard work and long hours put in by everyone - PI's and their teams, project and mission scientists, meteorologists, airplane ground crews, flight crews, pilots and ops management, and the many support people. Truly a team effort. A pat on the back to all! sh
